Privacy policy
ChoreCalm is operated by Michael Phillips under the developer name Last Word. It helps you plan household routines. This policy describes the current Android testing release.
Your home stays on your device
Home details, rooms, tasks, household display names, assignments, completion history, reminder settings and reward preferences are stored in the app's private storage. Core planning and task use work without a ChoreCalm account or internet connection. This release does not upload those records to the developer or offer automatic cross-device household synchronization.
Backups and exports
Android may back up or transfer app data according to your device and Google backup settings. ChoreCalm also lets you export a home to a file location you choose. That location may be a cloud-storage provider. Exported files include home details and history and are not separately encrypted by ChoreCalm. Share and store them carefully.
Moving to a new home saves the previous home locally. You can export past homes from Home settings. Restoring a backup replaces the current home. Files you export remain outside the app until you delete them.
Purchases
Optional lifetime access uses Google Play Billing. Google handles payment details and transaction processing. ChoreCalm receives product information, purchase status and signed purchase records to verify and restore access, and stores purchase evidence locally. We do not receive your payment-card number. There is no automatic charge at the end of the trial and no recurring ChoreCalm subscription.
Google processes payment and store information under Google's privacy policy. Clearing local data does not delete Google's transaction records.
Permissions and notifications
Notifications are optional. With your permission, the app schedules local reminders. It reschedules reminders after your device restarts or its clock changes. ChoreCalm does not request access to your camera, photos, contacts or location. Photo and AI chore creation are not part of this release.
Advertising and billing diagnostics
ChoreCalm has no ads, does not use the advertising identifier, and has no separate app-analytics or crash-reporting service. Google Play Billing 9.1.0 includes Google's diagnostic transport. It can send billing-operation events, responses, errors, timing and app/device technical information to Google when billing connects or is used. Google's services may also process network information such as the IP address and transaction-related identifiers. This supports billing operation, reliability, measurement and fraud prevention; it does not upload your household tasks or notes.
Google handles this information under its own privacy and retention practices. Google Test Lab is used on development builds for quality checks, not as an SDK collecting data from users of ChoreCalm.
Retention and deletion
Local records are kept until you change or remove them, clear ChoreCalm's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Clearing app storage removes the current home, locally archived homes, preferences and cached purchase evidence. Google Play purchases can be restored through the same Google account. Manage device backups separately in Android or Google settings, and delete exported files separately if you no longer want them.
Support and this website
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your request. You can request deletion of support correspondence, subject to records needed for legal obligations or unresolved disputes. Please avoid sending unnecessary household or personal details.
This page is hosted by WebsitePublisher and uses Google Fonts. Those providers may receive your IP address, browser information and ordinary request logs when you visit. Opening external links is governed by the destination's privacy practices.
Security and audience
Android's app-storage protections apply. ChoreCalm does not add a separate encryption layer to home records. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. The app is intended for adult household organizers and is not directed to children.
